For over a decade I honed my understanding of the user/player through video game design for consoles and PC in a variety of design roles.  I mastered the fundamentals of understanding orienting and guiding a user in 3D space, user empathy and integrating constant feedback from user research, game testers and follow team members.

Multiplayer Designer

I scripted various movement sequences and weapons for a multi-million unit selling game with intense feedback and iteration with internal and external users. My work was done using the studio’s proprietary scripting language and testing in game.

Level Designer

Designed multiple levels 3D from blank slate "grey box" design all the way to polished, shipping product. My work was all done in Unreal Engine.

 

Lead Multiplayer Designer

I designed from scratch for multiplayer gameplay for a team that had never done multiplayer design before. This went from early ideation in written documents all the way to fully realized and scripted experiences in shipping product. Development was done using this studio's proprietary game engine.

 

Technical Designer

I designed and implemented complex set pieces and scenarios throughout the game. This work was done in Unreal Engine.
